New Movies
I used to go to the movies all the time but it’s fallen off a lot in the last couple of years. Rising costs + a variety of new and different things to do + being burned by some of the bad movies out there (even though I haven’t seen the movie, the trailer for SATC2 makes my stomach turn just watching it).
It looks like the dryspell might be coming to an end though. We saw Toy Story 3 last night and it was excellent, plus there are a couple of movies coming out in 2010 that I’m super stoked for.
Somewhere isn’t coming out until December, but I’m already getting excited. I really like Stephen Dorff and though Sofia Copolla gets a little too hipster/waifish for my liking, it definitely is showing a lot of promise.
Easy A just looks like it’ll be so fun. The updated Scarlet Letter plot seems like a strong start and I love Emma Stone.
